The 21% Leadership concept is based on the discussion Eric had with Brian Tracy at his speaking academy. The conversation was based on his advice that in order to be the best in your profession you needed to add an additional 3% to what you already know and do as a professional.
The number 21 is derived from 21 principles of leadership. The first seven are core or foundational principles such as integrity and trust. The next fourteen are leadership responsibilities that every leader must ideally excel at. At minimum, the leader is responsible for filling in the gaps with others who may possess the skills that lack (team building)
